Community and AR tools

The SAFE-STEPS Community offers a supportive space for discussion, interaction and shared learning about preventing and responding to gender-based violence in public spaces. Members can exchange ideas, ask questions and explore how to use the project’s practical tools.

The project's interactive AR-style scenarios bring everyday situations into learning activities—from street harassment and unwanted pressure to supporting someone after an incident. Participants choose how to respond, explore feedback and practise recognising boundaries, communicating assertively and offering support without blame. Selected scenarios include captioned videos and an optional camera overlay.

Youth workers, educators and organisations can use these scenarios to start discussions and practise safer responses together.
